The GKF cooperative
A gathering place, a gallery, and a shop in Visby was the goal, when we in the mid-1990's, established the GKF Association - Artisans and Designers of Gotland.
It far exceeded that - promoting cooperation between artistic professionals with workshops all over the countryside of Gotland. Various projects and exhibits in Sweden and abroad make us a unified group - despite the various members' differing methods, materials, and styles.
Our summer- and Christmas salons presented annually in the gallery are popular exhibits. Our common intention combines the aim for timelessness and high quality with strong individual expression and naturally the place itself - Gotland. The ArtsCrafts&Design shop
Our shop ArtsCrafts&Design with the Gallery is located at Wallérs place in the heart of the medieval town. Each one who comes into the shop, through the entrance on the corner, will discover a place in which to tarry, take a breath, and savor. You will find something for everyone: a lovely bowl, a trendy piece of jewelry, a favorite dress, a sweater made of local wool, or a lambskin heart.
Once you find your way here, you will want to return often.
